Cub Scouts (8-10.5)

Cub Scouts: (8-10 1⁄2 years) The Cub Scout programme consists of games and activities with a growing focus on out-door skills. In a typical year a Cub will learn to make fire, put up tents, build shelters and live comfortably outdoors, to read a map and use a compass. The Cubs also take part in District events with other groups as well as overnight events including a 1 Night Camp, a Group camp and the “Back to Basics” camp to develop more advanced bushcraft skills.
